Very Professional Job and Coverage of TOC.
The Youtube Video of the Cast Call was Excellent. Paul Jackson and Steve Fielder did a good job. Alan with the cast call out completed a Great Video. So why am I excited. Because I have spent my Life in the swamps just trying to tree a coon. Then to see Coonhunting represented as UKC and these Men in the video have done. Just brings joy to an Old Man. Thank you UKC for a quality production. Looking forward to Saturday Nights Finals. Congratulations to every hunter involved.

UKC did a great job with the cast call outs but what happened to the second round coverage? Did they decide not to go back out on the second round last night?
.
Richard the info I got from the video indicated that the second round and finals would be tonight. I thought like you did that the first two rounds would be last night with just finals tonight I may be confused.

You are probably right since I am usually the one that is confused. That is pretty unusual having the late round tonight.
There was one round last night and will be two rounds tonight, there will be coverage on all the last 4 cast. As for this event, holy cow!! It’s like nothing I’ve seen, the atmosphere of this hunt is like something I never thought we’d see in this sport. Very professional, UKC has just made a huge step up, and I believe have breathed a new breath of life into us as competition hunters and clubs all around this country.

I agree. It was nice having someone like Steve Fielder helping with the coverage. If they can keep improving on the coverage then UKC could really come to the forefront again. Maybe next year have they could go more in depth with the handlers, dogs, and talk more about some of the favorites of each cast.
I would love to see someone in the field filming, and relaying scores... but someone set up in-house, like they did for the calling casts, to discuss the hunt, and explain the scoring as it goes.

Really enjoyed watching the coverage very well done! Maybe after the cast are called out then commentators could talk about matchups and maybe interview some of the handlers. Hard to talk about the matchups when the casts are being called out. Really enjoyed watching!
👍👍

Coverage
Excellent job UKC. Our sport needed this. There is nothing wrong with classing it up a little bit.
Pretty darn good for the first year. I can’t wait to see any improvements they come up with for next year. I really enjoyed watching it from home.
I would love to see something like this spill over into the other big events throughout the year.

Since I have retired from comp hunting, I don't get to go to these big hunts any more but I still like to keep up with what is going on at them. Everyone that I have talked to has said what an excellant, professional job UKC did in putting on this hunt. All of the big money professional handlers were amazed. All I have heard is, I have to get started on my 5 cast wins for next year. There will be a lot more dogs qualified for the Regionals next year. I even heard an 11 yr old boy in the background of 1 phone call saying that he had to get his pup qualified. Apparantly he spectated on the cast that the very young man was in Fri night. And it didn't hurt that UKC hired mostly big name top money handlers as judges but those judges have all said that they will have a dog in the hunt next year. So Congratulations UKC on such a well run hunt.
Well done. Anyway to get our sport into people's living rooms is good for the future.

UKC TOC HUNT
I really enjoyed listening to the coverage last night. Nice to see Mr. Steve back in the saddle and enjoyed his insight to the dogs as well as the hunt itself. I am really pleased with UKC and the effort t hey put in to have this hunt. I only wish that I was younger and able to hunt in this kind of hunt. Never the less, I am happy for all of the hunters that can hunt these competition hunts. UKC has taken the hunts to a new high with the TOC HUNT. I can see the future getting brighter and brighter for those who love to competition hunt. Coon hunting is certainly getting a big boost with the TOC HUNT. Folks it's only going to get better and better, Thank you UKC from all of us coon hunters. Dave

I have been lucky enough through the years to attend about every major event that has been put on, including being apart of the original group that started the Russ Meyer invitational which parlayed into many many non sanctioned events after it.I must say that UKC by far out did any event that I personally have been to.It was simply AMAZING,The staff was over the top professional and pleasant to be around. The facility was second to none,The judges conducted themselves as one should and Alan and Trevor and we cant leave out Nicole were outstanding.I think the biggest problem they have now is duplicating what they did this year,But doing so with twice the attendance.(good luck its coming)I thank you for putting on such a quality event and look forward to being there next year. Sincerely John Strickland
Man UKC has officially changed the game! After watching that it made me wish I would have gotten out and tried to get qualified. That professional coverage is exactly what this sport needs. Awesome job to everyone that was a part of putting on the event! I think the numbers for next year will be huge after this.
