Just recognizing a good one...

Gr.Nt.Ch. - PKC Ch. - 2015 AKC Ladies World Champion - 2016 PKC Redbone Days Champion Moonlight Outlaw Mac
Mac is a nice 3 year old dog who put together an impressive win list last year and its continuing into 2016 and represented the Redbone breed well in our opinion, and I just wanted to recognize him for it and say that me and Danny are very proud of what he is, how he is bred, and what he has done.
Last week I drove 12 hrs down to N.C. to Southern Redbone Days and hunted Saturday night and Mac came away with 1st place Grand Nite Champion and High Scoring dog on Saturday and this weekend we drove 7 hours west to Missouri where he won both rounds of a big redbone hunt (that shall remain nameless so the moderators don't delete my thread).
Got to hunt with some of the big winners and up and comers in the redbone breed and came away feeling pretty proud of my dog, his abilities and his recent accomplishments.
I encourage everyone with a good redbone to get out there and compete a little this year if possible. There is something special happening in this breed and I got to see it in some of the dogs I hunted with these past two week ends. Good luck to everyone and I hope to see many of you at the hunts this year!

He is a big powerfully built dog with a blocky head and dark muzzle. I think he looks great just standing naturally...even has pretty good feet under him, but he has never been showed and when you try to "stand" him he fidgits around because he thinks your playing with him...lol
Thanks for the comment! I have a real good feeling about him and what I think he can accomplish. Im going to try to give him the chance and see what he can do.

Mac got his stitches out yesterday...all 16 of them so we celebrated last night and went hunting for about an hour and a half. He got deep all three drops...treed two real live actual wild raccoons and a den that was glowing on the infrared scope so Id say he is back to normal
Got a text from Bill Feldman today letting me know he is taking Roxie to Nevergone in the morning to have her bred to Mac. She is a nice 2 yr old female that just needs one win to finish to Grand Nite Champion out of Gr.Nt.Ch. Deepwoods Rocky and Gr.Nt.Ch. Brushy Creek Daisy.
Should be a nice cross of two big winning lines of redbones.
