Jim Smalling from Idabel Oklahoma had Clear River Kennels, Jim owned Curlee and Bred Diamond Jim, Jimmy, Cash etc;
Mr Smalling campaigned Curlee and won several hunts nationwide.

Clear River Slammer which was bred to Clear River Diamond Jim a few times is who put the track power into those pups. She was out of Hefley Bros KC which produced some exceptional track dogs.

I was told by a very knowledgable Bluetick man that KC was one of the best bluetick females that ever drew a breath of air. KC crossed onto Smokey River Chiefs Blue Dancer produced Slammer and several other nice hounds from what I heard, then Slammer onto Jim did the same. I was blessed to be able to hunt s couple of them and the way that they could drift a track out was special.
