Need LED Light input...

My son has a fur check that is about to ignite in his pocket. lol He has visions of a 26 or 28 volt LED light bouncing around his head..namely Star Hunting Lights. I have zero experience with a LED light but like the idea of the long burn times and they appear to have came a long way since they were first introduced...what say you?

LED

The Star Hunting Light is a great choice, Can't beat the workmanship.

I've been looking to and I'm seeing lots of nice lights on the market . Bright when you need it and dim when you need that is a given but I'm liking the ones with the built in colors more & more . As much to keep bugs out of my face as for shining eyes . I think it's going to be a cap light for me . Seems the biggest difference between a cap light and a belt light is how long you can go between charges so I'm thinking convenience will be my choice .
Biggest problem is too many choices .

I have a blazer 30V & 14V and doubt i will ever have another brand of light. I love them both very light and hold a charge for ever. My 30 about every 90 days if I'm hunting a lot the 14 about ever 45 or so.

I have a STAR light and two BOSS lights. You will be happy with either. The BOSS Magnum cap light is $200 and you will not find a brighter cap light, especially at that price. You can hunt a couple nights straight without charging and it only takes an hour to charge anyway.

Love my Sunfire Caplight! Super bright, no long cords, and holds a good charge. Never have another belt light!

I really like my boss caplight the triple threat. Has colored leds and i carry the boss flame cordless spotlight if im on an extra tall tree. Its a great combo and will run you 375 which is same price point as a new belt light

X2, Just got the sunfire. Just right on low and super bright on high. I think it came with 5 or 6 different colored lenses.

Blazer 21 is the best on the market, You can't go wrong with any of the 21's. I too love my 2 in one red/ white LED head. I have used alot of lights on the market today.

If you want the brightest thing on the market buy a SUNFIRE. I have put it up against them all and there is none brighter. I burn mine for 5 hunts then charge. I have used this light for 80 plus hours and it still didn't show any signs of burning down. It says it will burn on high for 3.5 to 4 hours I know for a fact I have burnt mine on high longer than that. I LOVE this light best money I ever spent if it ever breaks I will buy another before I go back into the woods.

x2 last light I will ever buy!! plus with 30 day money back if you don't like it how can you go wrong?

Boss Magnum cap or belt light both are BRIGHT.

I have tried several led lights and I don't care for them.
they don't dim down as low as I want.

I agree they don't dim real dim but good enough. With my sunfire on its lowest setting it is good to walk with and will burn 140 plus hours. Every 24v or 28v 5100 head light I ever had. I could get 2 nights hunting on them at best and have walked a many a night back from a tree by the light of another hunters light because mine was dead. Since I bought my sunfire it has yet to run dead or leave me in the dark. Also I got a hundred bucks that says when I crank it on high and can't find a coon its because it aint there not because my light aint bright enough..... As I stated above best money I have ever spent in my 23 years of coon hunting.

If you want the very best...

Get a K-Light. They are as good as any of the lights mentioned above. They have a 2 year warranty and the customer service is the better than anywhere I've ever bought anything. I cannt say enough about how they stand behind what they sale.

Sunfire. I keep the frosted lens on mostly. I may have to take it off if the tree is really tall or I have to pinpoint one.

I have two LED cap lights, both are Laser Torch Pros one with the color LEDs one without. I've owned one since they came out about 2yrs ago, the other I bought at the WH this year. I've seen many LED caplights and haven't regreted buying Laser Torch yet. They are bullet proof and as bright as anything on the market..
