I have a nice black and tan out of this line of dog and was wondering if anyone knows about BLACK JUICE or may-be other pups related. Just checking on the history ,and what kind of treedogs came from this line.I do know black juice was out of Wards Bo and Hanky panky sis. Any info. will be apreciated, thanks

Stylish is right....

My good friend George Richardson (now deceased) raised Hanky Panky Sis and the litter Juice was out of. Juice was owned by Mike Hicks of El Reno, Oklahoma and Mike showed the dog alot...he was beautiful on the bench. Mike sold the dog one time for $50 dollars and got him back...laugh! He got mean...he killed one of Mike's good Walker females in the yard one day and that was end of Juice's home in Oklahoma. He went on to a new home out of State and the new owner must have worked miracles with him...he was a popular stud dog for quite a while. They say some of his offspring went on to make nice dogs.

black juice

The dog that I own is not mean in any way, even hauling in the box. I really like the way he handles and believe he is going to one heck of a treedog by thec end of season.I was thinking about breeding my ace-hobo hoss female to him . Both are fine looking dogs running and treeing. As far as the reproducing record ,the ukc papers show j and r northern buck II at 408 pups.3 gn nc15 gs12 sc22 grnitech grch'pr' back juice at 440 pups gn3 nc10 gs 24 sc 32. The way I see this is he is pretty close to being as close a reproducer as some of the more advertised dogs .Still curious if anyone else is hunting dogs or pups with this bloodline . Thanks to all who have responded to this topic.

may have just been the females that procuced the pups that I was talking about about weren't compatable with juice.

I remember those adds on Juice man that slobber slinging SOB that was some of the best adds of the day.

If I remember right I raised a gyp that had Juice in her. She had a lot of tree in her, some nights way to much tree but she grew out of it and moved on to make a grntch. She was energy packed and a medium hunter, still alive to my knowledge. She was mixed in with heavy Skaggs.

Would any one happen to have some of the old ads on this dog, back issues of bloodlines or something?

Juice Blood

We have a few dogs out of juice or that go back to juice He was a PKC champion We had dogs out of him that were hard tree dogs. I remember personally hunting with Juice and he sure did slobber. We took and bred our Juice blood dogs to females/males out of Bill Macks dogs and had some pretty good crosses both in the woods and on the bench! My female is currently double bred Juice. Jeff is a very nice person and did a great job with the Juice dog!

YEA, I have spent alot of time laughing at them ha ha. I did own one of the best in the walker breed, until I lost him to bloat back in feb. Really liked this dog and had hunted with him 8 good years . Something like this can sure knock the wind out of you ,but I got to thinking about it what I had told my sister about him , that there was no quit in him and he gave 110 percent . We made a good team and I dont look for any other dog to suit me the way he did . Just thought may-be someday somebody might be able to say the same thing about me, that I gave 110 percent and there was no quit in me . There are good ones and bad ones in all breeds , I have always been partial to Black And Tans and I am going to give them another round. It is serious business with them black dogs ha! ha! Thanks, Wendell

It has been a good number of years since, but my friend Tony Grubb bred a female to Juice one time with good results. There are still a few of them hounds around here.
