RIP 2006 UKC World Nite Hunt Champ Quick

(click on picture to view video)

With tremendous sorrow, I hate to post this but the 2006 World Nite Hunt Champion GrNtCh Split Creek History Quick has made her way up to Coondog heaven
Dennis and Todd I am very sorry for your loss and I know how much that dog meant to the two of you, although I never got to see her go in the woods, I am happy to at least get a couple pictures taken of you two with her along with Agile and Solo! The one picture is just a short video of when I was down last and hope you enjoy it! Again, very sorry for your loss

Sorry

To read of you losing Quick. You've still got a lot of good times to remember her thru the years. I'll always remember many exciting casts between her and BO in the big park.

Also, sorry to read of your family loss- grandma/great-grandma- in the paper this week. Take care, Ron.

Sorry to hear about this Todd and Dennis. Quick was the kind we'd all like to own and probably never will. Good luck with Agile at the Zones!

Sorry to hear this. Dennis and Todd you have my condolences.

The first hound competition hunt I went to was a Slam hunt at Argyle. I beleive this was in 2007. I got the opprtunity to follow Quick, I was a spectater, and she put on a show. Quick was getting deep and getting treed. She had a higher pitched mouth that seemed to carry forever. I swore she was treed just a few hundred yards away from us and then walked over twice that far to find her locked down with the meat. She won that hunt that night.

Quick left a lasting immpression on me. Anytime I try to judge a dogs ability I often think of that night and compare it to that little female who seemed to just flat get gone and get treed.

Sorry for your loss,

Dan

Sorry for your loss seems the good ones pass way too soon it seems..

Posted by T Felderman on 08-08-2011 07:39 PM:

Thanks guys.

The cancer and heat really took its toll on her this last month.

If there is one thing I could take from her and bottle it up would be HEART, DRIVE and GRIT. She had a heart like a lion. If you didnt want to hunt it was best to leave her at home. We had to quit hunting her when she turned 10 because she went to hard for her age. I pulled her off the last tree she ever treed on with her chest ripped wide open from something or another. She would have killed herself huntin.

Definitely a special dog. She could put up 1000+ like a walk in the park or grind out those 1 coon cast wins.

In more than a few hunts the guide would say "I've never been this far before".

QUICK

I DREW HER AT THE QUARTER FINALS THE YEAR SHE WON THE WORLD HUNT. SHE PUT ON A SHOW THAT NIGHT. I HAD A BUNCH OF GUYS STAYIN HERE AS THE QUARTER FINALS WERE OUT OF ELIZABETH, IL. WHEN I GOT BACK HERE I TOLD THEM THAT I HAD HUNTED WITH A DOG THAT COULD WIN IT ALL, AND DANG IF SHE DIDN'T GO DOWN SOUTH AND DO JUST THAT. COULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED TO 2 NICER MORE DESERVING GUYS THAN DENNIS AND TODD FELDERMAN. SORRY TO HEAR SHE IS GONE, BUT I KNOW HER KIDS AND THE FELDERMAN'S WILL CARRY ON AND KEEP WINNING. <v>

Thanks Guys

Thank you for every one from Split Creek History Kennels, but I am not one of those persons that dwell on the past. I am looking to the future and want to win another world championship. It takes alot of work and luck, but we will be hunting something out of her. I wish everyone good luck and happy hunting.
