I love my godwins froglegs with muck boots so much I use them on my water trap line too. I have a hard season of coon hunting and trapping in them and they are just broke in. For what its worth I would not think twice about buying another pair!!!

Cut the boots off the chaps and wear them another 10 years. You will not find another pair you like as well as the wicks.

I'm liking my Dans pretty good! You can pick the boot you want them on too. Briars and water won't phase em. Comfortable up or down. 115-130$ sitting on your doorstep. Can't beat it! I hunt everything in mine

I like the Yoder super chap myself, they are not bagging, and the 1000 denier seems lighter weight than the other chaps that are 1000 denier.

I agree with this 100% I done this and just wore mine over a pair of mucks then like a idiot went and bought a pair of dan 5 star chaps and gave my wicks away ! The dans droop below my knees and everything else , I hate the dans 5 star chaps !

i just talked to the folks there and custom ordered a pair to fit.made to fit my pant size and wont be baggy so im satisfied as of now till i get them.have to wait and see how thery fit now.there on the new heavy duty lacrosse work boot.thanx again.

Dans 5 star!!!!

I love my Grubbs boot, but the more I wear these dans 5 star chaps, the less I like them! They are way to bulky to wear down, and almost too unfortable to wear up on your legs, way too stiff, but they haven't tore or leaked! I've got a pair of old lacrosse with the light chap from dans and love them, but the 5 star isn't for me!
