dog kennels

Im about to build a dog kennel to hold 2 hounds. can everyone post pics of your dog kennels for me to look at to get an idea. im on a budget amd im not sure if i wanna build a wood floor or if i wanna use concrete flooring. what do yall think i should use? also what kind of fencing should i use or should i just buy a couple kennells from lowes?

My kennel

Mine I had four 6ft post dug two foot deep spaced out 8x8 with fencing around it and diving it 4x4 I used plywood for the floor cause it was cheaper then 2x4 u do have to take more time to clean it out but it saves money

I have a concrete slab that is 12x20. i think im gonna fence it in and add a devider and then build a devided dog house on the back of it and add the gates by the dog house. plus putting a wall on the back side. that will give each dog 12x10 with a pretty decent size dog house. and put cedar shavings inside the dog house

Here's mine I just built...nice and easy to clean..
Have a slight slope and pen corners on blocks so waste sprays under....
Floor is 5/4 deckin boards...

My pen is 12x12 the dog kennel is 10x10 it has a divider in middle so each run is 5x10..
The lumber was roughly $500.00 it's all treated...
The roof was couple hundred..(metal)..
I like it a lot ..like I said waste sprays rite out the back...

The sun hits right there during the day and they like to lay on them gets em off the concrete

Magnum kennels.

How long have you had them. I purchased over $5 grand of them a few years back only to have them rust out and TSC not stand behind them. I had a simular setup like yours and I hosed out the kennels and kept them clean even in the winter months when possible. I believe the moisture left from cleaning them had alot to do with the one setup but my other kennel was out in the sun other than just having a roof for shade during the hot months but they didn't hold up much better. I sure hope you have better luck then I did with them. You have a great looking kennel setup!! I have the AKC surpreme kennels now and there not cutting the mustard as far as not rusting either.

I wanna say there 5 or 6 years old no rust yet. Thanks man there at my buddies farm. That ashame companies like that don't back up there products

I bought 2 kennels & set them apart so all I had to do was make a span with a door for the center pen.
I put down used brick over shale (cheap) lots of drainage easy to clean
I put wood post & footballs in for the boys to wiz on instead of the cage wire & post
They have inside dog boxes I'm still working on it but when finished I hope to have outside boxes for them as well
each run is 5'X15' with 12' of it under roof I did not have to shovel snow this year!!!
I used cul lumber from local lumber yard & mixed or open bundles of shingles that they just wanted rid of it also was very cheap
In colder weather the water bucket sat inside on top of boxes & they didn't freeze up
