Scoring question

In my hunt the other night three dogs treed 125 75 50 all got minused. Then one dog treed again I was the judge and put him down for 25 on the tree and done the other dogs that treed with mine. I put them down for 25 also the other dog treed by himself I put him down for 125. Did I score this right?

No, If all dogs were minused and tree is open they retree for 125, 75,50. Dog split would get 125, that was right.

I thought that's what it was but I wasn't for sure and the guys in my cast was saying no they go in for 25.

They should have likely struck back in for 25 since 1 dog was still holding strike points...but each time a dog trees a new tree the points on THAT tree start at 125 if that makes sense..

Hey Jordan when you say they got minused... did all three leave the tree? was it slick? did one dog leave the tree to take minus then come back to the other two? I could see if 3 dogs were treed and one left and got minused then came back to same tree with the other two dogs and started treeing again... then they would take the next available if the 5 wasn't up yet correct?

Not on a three dog cast tree would be closed as soon as third dog was treed.

I thought the points started back over but the guys in my cast said the two dogs that treed with mine went back in for 25. The other dog was split by himself

In that case 25 was correct.

Jordan, the three dogs were they on the same tree and at no time were all the dogs off of that tree? to my understanding as long as one of them stayed there on the tree that kept the points orignally scored used so every dog that came back into that tree would get 25, but if all 3 dogs was off that tree at the same time and came back to it then the tree points starts over... some one please correct me if I am wrong

THE way I read it one was treed and moved==125 minus, then another boy treed his dog and it moved=125 minus, then he treed his dog and it moved =125 minus, then he retreed his dog 125, if no other dog was treed before the first one moved first tree becomes available, same with the next dog and right on, if no other dog was declared treed, the way I read it no two dogs were declared treed before the dog that treed moved and was minused, thus opening first tree again as long as no dog is holding the tree its anyones tree

One guy treed his dog 125 another boy treed his 75 and I treed mine for 50. Mine moved then so 50- then he treed again I put him down for 25 then the other dogs moved.

If I understand you, your dog left and came back while the other 2 dogs were still there and you retreed him and then they left after you retreed, is this correct? If so you would retree for 25 and the others if came back before the 5 min would retree for 25. The 5 on the tree would be from the time the first dog was treed because there is at least one dog at the tree at all times.

If the 2 got them before your dog retreed then the tree was open again and and the 125,, 75, and 50 would be open again 4(f). But I will tell you I'm kinda confused and maybe would of had to be there.

Rule 4(f) after dog(s) is declared at least one of the dogs declared treed must bark at least once every 2 min. until cast arrives at the tree,or be minused. If no dogs bark in the 2 min.tree declared open. The way it was explained there was no dog barking treed for over 2 min. tree is open all points are eligible again.
