Fifth Generation

A litter of pups representing my fifth generation of breeding were born at my house today. While I never really thought that I was that much of a Boone fan, these pups have Boone 7 times through three different females, and I think this will be a great cross. Credit goes to Dieter Krause for making this cross. Here is the pedigree.

I have owned/raised/ and or trained these 4 generations: Grnitech The Truth Dog, Ntch The Moundscreek White Lie Dog, Grnitech The Moundscreek Truly Xtra Dog, and The Cowboy Jr Dog.
I have also hunted with extensively or owned or trained the following-Grntch Tuckers The Techno Cowboy Dog, Grntch Credit River Tucker, Brook ViewJill, and Krauses Sassy.

I guess I could have found something better to do with my time these last 14 years, but am pretty satisfied with the results that I got doing what I have been doing.
Anybody think these pups might tree a coon? Or reproduce a dog that might tree a coon?

great looking pups,I had a female yrs ago a granddaughter to Cadillac and Spring Creek Rock.Never ever pulled tree,not once, ran tracks with her head up that most couldn't open on,100% accurate period...She had the coon or there was a hole.If you wanted to find the coon you just looked straight up from where she planted herself.most times when the dogs treed at the trunk she would be under the coon maybe 50 60 ft away where he crossed over to another limb. Her nose was a coon compass second to none. Boone deserves credit I'm sure but where you say Boone I say Cadillac You cant get an apple without a tree.I'm sure that those pups will make some fine hounds,in my mind they would have to.You wont find one like that today but these pups should come close with all that Boone blood.

Mark. They are treeing plenty. You followed the Sissy dog around for a while didn't you? Which other one? Plenty of good blood in their that I can not take credit for, I just been accumulating others foundation stock and adding to it where I can.

BTW, Maya hunted hard tonight. We had a tough night. The pack treed one and QT got off to herself and treed another.

Mark, It took me almost three months to figure out what you found funny, before I realized those two dogs looked "locked up". they aren't, just one circling the tree, I was holding the one away so her littermate could get her pic taken.

I just thought those dogs had a lot of drive or something. Def something I'd never expect to see when I got to a tree. Lol good looking dogs tho.
