Chinese Hummer

No, that is not what I'm talking about!

I see where AM General, the company that manufactures our miliaries Hum Vee fighting vehicle is being sold to a Chinese company. It appears that our militaries nimber one vehicle will be built by the Chinese. Am I the only one bothered by this?

I have been predicting for months that the Chinese will own GM, or part of GM. Possibly as a pay off for borrowing $$$$$$$.

Trust me,

the politicians in D.C. aren't gonna be happy until everything in this country is owned by China.And China isn't gonna be happy until they do either.And,on top of that,every American is wiped off the face of the Earth.They've already tried to kill our children with toys that were toxic.Now they are exporting drywall to this country that is toxic too.What's it gonna take before these self-righteous S.O.B.'s in Washington wake up and smell the coffee?That's what I wanna know!!!!!!!

Rob they might be saying the same thing about us we sent them beef infected with the mad cow disease.. So they sent us toys with led... they thought it was a fair trade I guess....

It's an old platform anyway. It's 1980s technology. It's not like someone now couldn't build something better if they had the money to invest. Besides they've been working on multiple possible replacements for a while.

GM should have started tying to make themselves more flexible and competitive when they were losign market share and times were still good. Hell, they make agreements with unions to pay them more and pay them regardless of if a plant was producing or not.

Labor is getting expensive in the us, it's cheaper to build a lot of things elsewhere. Look at telemarketing (used to do it don't hate me.) They can hire 4 indians with college degrees, and speak english (with an accent) for what it costs to hire some person to do it in the us without a high school degree.

Maybe their heads out of the ground and find a way to streamline costs without killing of their employee base.

I am not aware of any animal that was shipped to China that had Mad Cow or any other infection. Any time there is word of a USA animal with hiccups, they embargo our meat.

Mr. Sawyers,You may be right about the Mad Cow thing,but we definitely didn't inject our cattle with the disease.They HAD to know exactly what they werte puttin' into those toys AND the drywall.

but hey, this is what the voice of the people wanted, right? I dont understand why the country is so upset, they put him in charge, right?

since the gov't owns 70% of GM now, and we the people are the gov't, wonder when I'll start getting my company benefits & pay???

GLOBAL COMPANIES

GM, FORD , and every other major car company is a global company . GM is huge in China already. They are not just US companies. so we bought out and gave money to Global companies . Glad my tax money went to help other country also when it was made to look like it was helping here
