Brummy is a get deep in a hurry get struck and get treed kind of dog, he has no reverse and everything he does is in overdrive. 1st strike and 1st tree dog in most company. Good cold nose and knows how to move a track. Good bawl mouth on track, he comes on the tree with a nice locate and has a nice hard ringing chop on the tree. He likes to be by himself but doesn't have to be. He is a stay put pressure tree dog that will have the meat.

If I didn't think he had something to offer the Bluetick breed I wouldn't be advertising him. I'll show him any way you want to see him go, my place or yours.

He is 7 years old

Stud Fee: $250 or possibly a pup deal depending on the bitch.

I'm the walke rman..This little 9 month old pup is a go get er..Shes treed coon beside of and in front of seasoned coon dogs..Good mouth and will bust a hole in the dark like her daddy does..I dont see anyone going wrong with breeding to Brummy..While I dont have a clue about the blue blood..You cant go wrong with one that busts through the dark and gets a coon treed..

Glad she's turning it on for you Michael! I told you he was throwing get gone and get treed type dogs.

Tyler Allen just sent me a text and they made 4 tree's and looked at 3 coons with his pup, Dan. They were hunting him alone. He's off Brummy and Tyler's Rambo 2 bred female. This puppy has been to the woods less than 20 times his whole life.

I made a quick dump here at the house with Brummy. Struck and treed in 13 minutes and went 957 yards according to the Garmin. He had the meat swinging. I let him tree for about 45 minutes before I went to him. No need to run to the tree, he'll be there when you decide to get there.

He's got a good mouth, not over powering loud on track but I'd say a little better than average. once he gets treed it's a real nice loud ringing chop.

I have no trouble hearing or calling him in a cast full of dogs.

Nice pups out of ole brummy he is bred up nice, I like the thorn apple dogs on the bottom side. I had a female from the Thornapple cross and she was the best I walked behind. I had her tree coon the other dogs could only dream about.

Thanks Joe, I'm excited about the kind of hounds he's putting on the ground. Get gone hard hunting dogs from the get go seems to be the norm. I don't know how it is where you're at, but down here you have to have a dog that will bust a big ol' hole in the dark.

I don't know a lot about the Thornapple dogs, but I've heard a lot of folks say good things about them.

I would love to get him bred to a female off Patch.

Good Looking Hound Clyde!!!! The Thornapple dogs you refer to were owned by a friend of mine the late Dave Lewis. Bud and Amber were probably the best cross Dave made. Amber was a decent coondog but Bud could tree layups better than most dogs can run a hot track.

Mostly just hunting young dogs like usual, I have one right now that is doubble Hillbilly and Hammer 18 up close that is also a grandson to Spike to boot. I am also hunting a female out of Boommer and Mike Hurts Wendy female that is a split treeing fool. That male of yours sure looks good stretched out on the wood.Tell Dave to hurry up and get something bred to him .

Sounds like you've got a kennel full of well bred young hounds. I've always heard if a young dog has it in them you know how to bring it out.

Dave operates at Dave's pace. Sometimes that's wide open and sometimes it's laid back LOL. We've got a deal in the works where I hope to have some Brummy pups up north this fall.

He is as nice a young dog as you could ask for. Never was bad to run junk and has a super nice mouth. Goes hunting hard right by himself and will get hooked with a coon.

Brummy is a nice dog, nice mouth. Goes hunting and usually has the coon. He is a nice dog. No dog is perfect and Brummy is no exception but what CLyde say goes for him. Go hunting with the dog. I have seen him on bad nights and he still usually gets under a coon. I would love to see him if he could be hunted 5-6 nights a week. He would go to GRAND fast and be hard to beat in my eyes. I plan on breeding something to him one day. Try him out, I dont think youll be dissapointed.

Thanks Chris, you've hunted with him enough to see him have good nights and bad nights. I've hunted him 4 nights a week the last 2 weeks and he's looking as good as he ever has. I do wish I had time to really pound him for several months straight.

I hunted with Tyler and his Dan pup again last night and I'll tell ya'll what, I'm impressed with that pup all around but his mouth is nice, real nice. Quick explosive tree dog with a locate anyone could call.

Headed to Roberta tonight, maybe we'll keep the streak alive. Tyler is going to hunt his Dan pup, it will be the first hunt either have ever been in. We've pleasure/competition hunted a couple of nights this week, I think they're ready.
