Darren, I don't have a big pedigree on Copper. Are you saying that Mr Harry Omedian took a female grandpup out of Gr Nt Ch Hayes Rambling Red Ace and bred her to Joe Melton's Gr Nt Ch Fireball to get the stud dog that he based/started his kennel on?
I have sure been getting a real nice history lesson on the old time Fireball X Ace/Famous Amos/Timber Chopper bred dogs. It seems that they really worked very well. And then later on some bred heavy Fireball offspring with heavy Timber Chopper or Famous Amos offspring with quite a bit of success. But then it kinda died out but now it seems to be coming back to a certain extent.
Like I've said before on here richard fireball was a great fastball for those heavy TC bred females

In all of my long talks with Mr J Biggert Sr, he never even mentioned this stuff. Was he not coonhunting when they bred Fireball to Flame and then Rocky to Maggie? I still remember hunting with Music once and that was 20 yrs ago. She was really something.
Darren/Kim/Jeff, why did y'all wait all of these years to breed some Rusty/Ace/Timber Chopper back in? I can't wait to breed a nice Boone X Copper female back to Big Red Jim or a nice Boone X Cat female to AfterShock. Or something out of Boone X Cat to something out of Big Time Bo X Deanna. Wouldn't that be something?
Where is Mr Sawblade? Is he banned? And where is that Gruver boy? I thought that he said that he was going to play with us now. They must be over on that Facebook thing.

Oh my goodness, it looks like Mr Omedian must have "acquired" Rocky from Mr Bachelder to start his Yellow River Kennels.
Isn't Brown's Ok Red Penny where the Brush Buster dogs came from?
And I got to hunt with/against Bailey one night at AO. She beat me and sure did look good doing it. But then Music was her mom. That Twister X Music cross was a real no brainer. My Copper papers show it in Chilli's 2nd generation. Now I am beginning to see (said the blind man) why Chilli was such a nice reproducer when crossed with Steve-O.
I wish that I could come up to Olney. If I wasn't so busy taking care of pups, I would. It is a great place to have a hunt and always a good time.
Hmmm
Richard, I can't believe you have had blinders on all this time.
Way back in the day when all those Yellow river dogs were winning you must have still been on the show circuit . Back then I bred my untitled little female to an old grey haired GrNiteCh Yellow River Rocky . That produced his very last living litter. Rocky was 13 years old and my female "Fiddle " was about 2 years old. Fiddle was double Famous Amos and double Littleman she was a heavy TC bred dog with several other top TC sons in the ped. It really should be no surprise why she crossed well on Harry's dogs.
Your not just now figuring this all out are you.

joe Melton told me one night while we was hunting at his place that bachelders females was the best cross on fireball the next night I was at bachelders hunting with bow the next night I was at Harry's hunting with rocky my buddy bred his tj female to bow then to rocky she died before she had the rocky pups
Harry said he want every tc line bred female he could find that they had found the mix that worked
Look at jack pot Jackie ped I think you will find this mix again
