Don't know if it is true or not, but I got a phonecall today telling me this bill will only be good for the super stakes and world hunt. It would not be in effect for the rest of the year. Have you heard anything Billy?
Done called mine & he's for it,I understand it's good at anytime, for any event UKC,PKC, season hunt or pleasure hunt.
I just got off the phone with John Cavelletos office. House Bill 1216 will be an event specific bill. In other words, IT WILL ONLY BE GOOD FOR THE SUPER STAKES AND THE WORLD HUNT. Guys, I know this is not exactly what we thought it would be, but lets get this one passed. It is a step in the right direction. We will work on another one for year round at another date. I was told this morning that for all of this to work, we will have to take it in baby steps. I guess this will be the first step. Lets not fall on our butts now.
I stand corrected, right on Bobby it's a step in the right direction, hope nobody screws it up.
I have talked to cavalleto's office and he said he wanted input from the illinois state association at the hearing and or committee meetings so myself and/or other officers of the association will be attending when it gets to that point. i am in contact with different org such as farm bureau and other groups that need to work in unison and harmony as much as we can to find an answer to this.
remember you might have heard me say this before but i will say it again there is strength in numbers and if we all stick together we stand bigger than anyone can stand alone. so please if your club hasn't joined the state association yet please urge the membership to join as the more club (clubs = people and people = votes) the ISCA says they represent the more we are listened to I've played this game in springfield before and they listen when i tell them how many votes i am speaking for.

It doesn't say anything about it being a special events bill. I hope his office is wrong Bobby.
