no this is not the predator light. it is as bright as a 20 volt turned all the way up on the low side.

So far I haven't seen any of these type of lights any brighter than that. Nice for how long of burn time they have But I wouldn't trade my 28 volt for any of them yet. They get one as brite as mine and last longer. I will own me one.

That is correct. you can definately find a coon with no problem. but honestly there is no comparison to a 20 v all the way up on high.
Not even close. othere will try to fool you and fill you with all kind of hype but here at east fork hunting supplies we do not do that.
This light is great for those who do not need a super bright light and for those who want a good light but dont want to pay a fortune for a light. Also the burn time is 12 hrs on high and 30 hrs on low. you can not get that out of any conventional light.

What are the warranties on the Predator and the Smart light!

Posted by ronald schultz on 10-28-2009 09:29 PM:

can you buy the lite just to hand hold

or do you only sell on helmet?

Posted by matt mcdonnell(kc) on 10-29-2009 03:18 AM:

all predator lights come with a bracket so that they can be attached to any soft or bump cap. as of yet we do not sell hats or bump caps. we figured everyone already has enough of them.

I've been useing my new Predator light and I like it. To me the briteness is about the same as the 21 volt I was using but has a tighter spot. Comfort without the belt, cord and battery pack is no comparsion. For those really big pines and oaks where they just won't look and you have to search for fur, tails and ears I carry a small cordless led spotlight to help.
