why don't you feed tuffys gold it is good

chris that would be great how far is that from me , never heard of tuffys before i feed high standard a while back and luved it just cant find it close to me anymore

ah steve has never liked it,i think hes just getting old and is losing it a little bit lol, david all i know is its been the best food my dogs have ever liked,very good for them when me and steve hunted 5 to 6 nights a week

Yea I will take a look for the info for you here later on today Jim. Not real shure how far it is from you but he is north and west of st. cloud. There is another guy down in Rochester that sells Pazzaz now that is another good feed very comparible to Hi. Standard might even want to check him out I got his number here his name is Phil 507-421-2913.

I think the guys # is 320.333.3311. He's selling it for $24 a bag if you buy less than a pallet. I'm going to find something closer and cheaper. Diamond's got a red bag 26-20 that I can get for $22 /50lb bag locally. Anybody use it?

I generally feed Purina but I've fed Hi-Standard and Pzazz. I fed a few bags of Hi-Standard last spring. I really liked it. Jason Klassen from Plainview was getting it by the ton from Tom Solberg in Arcadia WI. I heard Tom has switched again so I'm not sure if Jason is still getting it. If I could find Hi-Standard close to home for less than $23 a bag, I'd feed it all winter. I really liked it.

I've fed Pzazz off and on over the years. Between Dick Fuller and Phil Kruegal down here it has always been easy for me to get. But I will not rave about Pzazz. It is a decent food for a decent price. I think Phil is currently getting $20 a bag. I just picked up a bag last week, but I don't think I'll go to feeding it full time over the hunting season. My dogs had better stools of Hi Standard than they do Pzazz. IMO Pzazz is a middle of the road feed, if that is the best you can get its ok, beats feeding the junk from the gas station.

Lots of good dog food out there.... Pzazz, Hi Standard (purple bag), Sportsmix (blue bag), Tuffy's (yellow bag), Diamond (green bag), Black Gold, & etc. Just find one that you can get at a decent price close to home.

So is Ron out of the biz, or is he selling a new product? I was just gonna run up this weekend and get 10-15 bags- glad I saw this post!

We need a dealer in So. MN. A few of us tossed around the idea of getting enough money together and buying a semi load (800 bags) a while back. We couldn't get enough people together though. You'd have to store a bunch and pay up front. These were the stumbling blocks back then. How much does everyone feed in a three month period. My quick calculations are that it will take over 250 dogs to eat 800 bags in three months. Seems kind of steep. I've been selling to the neighbors and relatives which puts me at about 40 bags in three months. 760 bags to go!

lol ya that is alot of food then you have to think about storage,i used to buy diamond by the pallet and thats was plenty of food for me and my buddies
