Don't know how to reply but I will really will miss that one. He was doing great too. Just want to say if your at a hunt and worried about the roads were the guide takes you, go with your first thought and take the dog out of the hunt.

Yes it was. Ive been sick over it. I had bought a light up collar that i thought if this ever happened would help but it didn't.

Paul, from what we had talked about Thunder and coonhunting in general he was a powerful hound. He did what he was bred to do without reguard, and to please his owner and master. My condolences.

I want to thank everyone that has wrote on here. If it wasn't for all of you guys with good females and good males I wouldn't have good pups to hunt. I'm sure I will find another pup that I will like in time. If nothing else I have realized that there are alot of nice coonhunters through the country. Special thanks to Keith Morgan for starting this thread it does make me feel better knowing that what I had done so far with Thunder was noticed.

I have had 5 get hit over the years, I know all about your pain.
The last 1 was back in `03, it makes you feel jumpy when you know they`ve headed towards the road!There isn`t much you can do, the last 1 of mine that got hit was wearing a sunburst orange lite up collar........I guess it was his time.
