Please HELP!

I recently got a 7 yr old Uchtmans bred bluetick. She's really floppy and goofy lookin., Almost like a basset hound. Very vocal, almost too vocal (alot of bellering). Anyways I hunted her alone for the first time and wen she finally treed I got to her and she's running around an area maybe 20 or 30 feet wide, barking and looking at me like "where did it go george, oh here he is, wait, no, over here" she's so droopy and cute that it's humorous until u factor in her age and realize it's a problem. She's treeing for sure, I got lucky and caught eyes after I got her leashed but if it hadn't been for that I never woulda known what tree he was in. Anyone got any advice? I really like her and I don't wanna get rid of her but I just started hunting again a few months back and what made me quit hunting the first time wen I was a kid was that I never got a dependable finished dog I always had someone's cull I guess u would say or a young dog that hadn't finished out. Is this behavior something I can fix at her age or is it a done deal?

Dog

You need a few more "trees" to see if that is the way she always trees or was she just wind treeing that particular coon. You need to see more to make an honest evaluation of the dog. Once is NOT enough, that's like you shooting a rifle one time and saying the scope is set, you need a few rounds to verify point of impact. I hope she is a decent dog, sounds like you haven't had much luck with dogs. Dave
