Breeds of coon hounds
This may have discussed before but I was wondering what would have happened if we had had only one breed of coon hound, not based on color or slight differences in conformation. Would we have better dogs, worse or would it have made no difference. I think this is especially interesting with the Xbred classification. What do you think?

take a look at the top 10 u.k.c. producing top reproducing walker hounds .every dog on the list from a out cross mating.not one line bred dog in the bunch .with the x-bred dogs mating 2 dogs from different breeds is not that much different than whats been going on breeding big winners to big winners expecting big winners .out cross is a out cross weather you go inside your own breed or chose to bring new genes from another breed .j.m.o.
