Who can fix a dc 40 collar

I didn't use it all summer and went to use it the other night and the light would not come on even if i put it on the charger so I put a new battery in it and that didn't fix it.i called Garmin and they want $100 to fix it and I was hoping some one could do it For less

Have you checked to see whether its linking up or not.....probably sounds crazy but i had a buddy that had one and the light wouldnt work but the collar still turned on and linked up...i guess the light went bad but everything else worked.
