Just curious how most of you all feel about squirrel hunting in the month of february in kentucky ive got some vacation time i can take and really wanting to get my young dogs in the woods somemore. seems right now squirrels are really hit and miss somedays seems alot are stiring and others days lucky to see any.

For me in ky late November to early January is the best time to hunt after that they get scarce cause most food supplys are gone... But any time in the woods is good for young dogs...
