AKC vs. UKC vs. TLN Registered Names

I understand that AKC and UKC registration names don't have to be an exact match. However, I'm wondering how different they can be. Does the kennel name have to match between AKC and UKC? In other words, if a dog is AKC registered as "Kennel X's I Have a Really Long Name" can it be UKC registered as "Kennel A's Short Name"?

My second question is when going from a TLN to a UKC registration, must those names match?

The names can be completely different between the AKC and the UKC. If you are permanently registering the dog with us under a different name than with the AKC we just ask that you include a note letting us know the names are intentionally different.
