need help garmin 320

The gadget will turn on however the compass arrow will not come on and the map will not show up. My question is how to get these issues resolved? Warranty is up or I would send for another one. Not sure how it happened, I just turned it on and it was like that... Please help!! Thanks!

Make sure the chip is in place good!
