subpar hunt with mother/son hounds.

been more of a circus than usual at my kennel with 3 pups all coming into heat then trix coming in full bore and minn just starting to come in. jeff came down with clyde and wanted to get one hunt in with clyde and minn before she went completely stupid like the rest. well hunt started great until she started marking after the first run and clyde took notice. swear it was a contest who could pee more and most often!!! UGH! first and last runs went perfect. had a couple where they struck and moved tracks but never settled treed and another big tree they hammered on but we couldnt cross and called dogs back. we had just torn a beaver dam out and it was to cold to go balls deep halfway through the hunt. LOL. saw a couple coon but sucks when decent dogs hunt way below par on a nice cold windy nite. LOL.

on a positive note hoping to get trixer bred this weekend. if she takes will be her first litter and its now or never. she will be 7 on july 4th. sure hopes she takes nice old retarded dog.

first tree tonite, we had drove around to cut dogs off at next road and they had this one treed right off road.







last run of the nite, track that started crappy with some loses then got smoking and ground caught.
