New to UKC registration question...

Hi, I am not only new to UKC, I am new to purebred dogs, pedigrees, etc.....
I have two questions which are probably really silly but here goes..
1) Can you register your dog with the UKC if you are a Canadian resident?
2) I am interested in showing my puppy in hte future, but she isn't registered with any registry. Can I register her without having any papers for her?
Thank you for your help

Thanks for your question

Answer to question 1: yes

Question 2: Complete the pedigree information and forward what you have on the dog. This breed is in a foundation status program and our Committee looks on each single application on a case by case basis. Be sure to include 3 pictures, one of each side and one head on all in standing position.

Download our single application at: http://www.ukcdogs.com/rg/pdf/fo6adm.pdf Be sure to read all instructions carefully. You will need to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader if you haven't already. If you have any trouble email me your name and address and the name of the form you need to sjonas@ukcdogs.com and I will send you one snail mail.
