Registering my dog

I have a year old Shih Tzu, her parents were registered but the original owner of the parents gave the parents to someone else who we then bought our dog from. The person who we got our dog from did not get the papers and does not know where to get them either. So if the parents are purebreeds and are registered, (I don't know who with), is there anyway for me to register my dog. Or am I simply out of luck.

Sorry, I cannot help you. One must provide proof of registration with an acknowledged registry and it appears that you cannot do this. My suggestion would be to spay or neuter the dog and enjoy it as a pet. Altered dogs are eligible for many exciting working events.
