Registration Question

I have a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier that I have been using for breeding, but he is not registered with any registry. Is it possible to register him or his puppies and still be able to use him for breeding? Would it work to line breed and be able to show four generations and have them inspected to verify that they meet the qualifications?

Hi there. Your dog would not be eligible for UKC registration because 1) it either must have UKC papers or 2) be registered by a registry acknowledged by UKC. Since your dog fits neither of these two requirements, it cannot be registered with UKC.

We suggest that you spay or neuter the dog and enjoy it as a pet. With that done the dog could be Limited Privilege listed and would be eligible for several of our working events (obedience, agility, weight pull, etc.)
