Help With Walker Dog

I have a 1 and 1/2 year old walker female. She will tree a caged coon and a drag. She has never been by her self. I just got her and she hasn't been hunted before. I've been taking her with about five of my friends dogs that will hunt. She will go with them for about 200 yards then turn around and come back to the truck and just run around there. Does she just need to keep being hunted like she is and she will eventually go or is there something else to i can do for her? Or is she just too old to start hunting? Thanks

if it were me i wouldnt hunt her with only 1 dog that way she just has one dog to worry about when she comes back pay her no mind dont pet her or saynothing if she has it in her she will start staying out with the other if she hasnt been hunted much might take a few times to get her going i wouldnt keep fooling with a caged coon if she know what one is she also knows what a coon smells like jmo
