OT: DIRECTV Workers

Anyone on here work for directv? Having trouble installing a satellite dish and getting signal could really use some answers or tips.

I've

messed with sat tv some. if your setting up a HD dish once you get the signal you have to set the proper skew to see the HD sat... If you are only setting up a standard definition receiver. you only need to get 1 main sat. your mount must be level, and the signal path to the sat. must be clear of obsticles, like trees, buildings, etc. There are sattalite tv sites that you can put in your location and get the co-ordinates for aiming the dish ..http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/customer/dishPointer.jsp

Hope this helps.
