Rescued Walker Hound
We picked up a stray Walker hound last week. He's healthy, 40lb. male, 3-5 years old, heartworm free. He had treatable mange. He had one dip immediately and the second one this week. He looks remarkably better already.
We have boarded him at our vets, since our humane society and rescue groups are overloaded and we have no space for him at our home.
The vet says he is socialized, friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs.
We are hoping to find a foster or permanent home for him. We can not afford to continue boarding him and do not want to put him in our parish Animal Control facilities since they are overwhelmed with unwanted animals and are not a "no kill" shelter.
If anyone can help, please email us. We will forward you a video we shot of him two days ago.
Thanks.
WHERE WAS HE FOUND AND WHAT DOES HE LOOK LIKE
