question about a breeding
i have a dog id like to breed the males great grandfather is hardtime preacher
the female grand father is hardtime preacher
is that to much of hardtime preacher in their pedigree
any advice or suggestion would be much appreciated
I am not familiar with traits of some English dogs. So if your asking about is that too much with regard to that specific dog, I can't answer. However, if you are asking if that is too close of breeding assuming there are no really bad traits in that line, I would say no it is not too close.
The the most important aspects of breeding dogs are have specific goals (traits) and be as selective about your breeding stock as possible.
