how do performance points work

How many performance points do you get at a hunt , is the points system based on cast wins or is it based on overall hunt winner

Honesty wins hunts

It is based on the number of dogs entered and the placing of the dog. 1st with 20 dogs is 2 points. 2nd with 20 dogs is 1 point. 1st with 10 dogs is 1 point, 2nd with 10 would be half a point. The max you can get in one event is 2 points. There is a chart that shows all the point payouts.
