? for UKC

Why are the top producing males and females limited? Why can't UKC go to the begining of the registered dogs and say here is the BEST REPRODUCING hounds EVER registered! No matter if it was 10,20,or50 years ago. I for one would like to know the ALL TIME greats. Also I would like to see them based on percentage. Just wondering why it is done the way UKC does it. Thank's for your time, Ralph Williams

I don't know Ralph. It must have something to do with being able to querry that information. Right when I started here 20 years ago, the championship points records were still done manually on a card system. Not long after, it went electronic. Anything before that time would have to be hand researched from those old cards and the amount of time that would take does not make it feasible. That's my guess anyway.
