i just moved back home to texas, from kansas and can not find the laws about running dogs here. out of season, do we have a running season or what. and how does it work . plus is there any coonhunters clse by to hunt with. live in granbury, about 30-35 miles sw of ft.worth. if so drop me a line and let go tree a coon or two. gruntinandstruttin@yahoo.com- or 1-817-579-8552 thanks roger. o the brazos river is just down the road from me got to be a coon there some were.and dont worry if you hunt spoted dog i will try not to hold it against you.

You can coon hunt year around, but I would watch out for deer season alot of fools will shoot your dog. Must have a Tx hunting lic. and can take one a nite. But we have no right to retrive laws so be sure where you hunt. That about covers it.
