need help
i have a male redbone that is about a year and a half old and he has a great nose but he wont tree and sometimes when he does he doesnt tree hard and will get off the tree when i get there before i can grab him he will go off and do something else? is it just mabey because of the coon rut or is there any thing i can do to make him tree or is there just no hope? please reply or send me a pm of anything you have to say.

If you have an older dog leave it at the tree and get the pup.when u get the pup take em to the tree with the older dog and tie it back a little ways.let him sit there and eventually he should start barking when he starts let em bark a while the shoot the coon out, do this a few times and he should be well on his way.
