soak them in diluted bleach for a few minutes and then put nu-stock afterwards each time for 5 or 6 days in a row and it should clear it up ..
Thank you
Thank you I will try this
.
What did the vet say the fungus was and how did he say to treat it. What does it look like and how old is the dog.
If the feet are swollen and the hair is thin and the skin looks red. I would think it is something other than a fungus but I can't understand how the vet would miss what I am thinking of.
Did the vet eliminate Red Mange?
the blue kote works great i would also get some creolene and dilute it down and soak dog's feet in it for 10 mintues just a thought if your keeping on ground and it's all sloppy and mucky might be causeing it
You should see the vet again. Some fungi is treatable with topical ointments others must be treated in the blood. Otherwise it will just keep coming back.

I think I've seen the same thing give a half cc of ivermectin not much at all wait 2 weeks do it again but I bet it works the first time. Mange mites I think. Happens if it's sloppy in there pen. Feet swelled real big.

Don't waste your time TAKE THE DOG TO VET. I have a friend who has a couple dogs with these problems and only thing that works is prednisone 4mgs every other day the rest of life. Vet says it's allergies! Go figure but if they don't get the drugs every other day feet break out and pads start coming off. Good luck he's tried everything
Had a female took her to one vet he thought it was fungus this guy is normally spot on. Tried it seem to get worse. Took it to the vet here in our town he said ivermectin mange mites should take care of and it did. Which supposed to give them that for heartworm prevention anyway. The dogs feet had redness rash infected nail then eventually swelled up noticeably bigger than normal. Two days after treated returned to normal. I d try that before I took it to the vet. If your vet prices are like mine. U can buy the ivermectin for cheaper than it cost to take ur dog in. The bottle will last a long time.

If it's a bacteria or fungus u should be able to put Vicks on its feet. Keep them dry as much as u can. Try both might save ya a couple hundred around Christmas. Lol

Well the fungus is on his ears as well
It is on his ears as well. Does this narrow it down for anyone ?
Thank you
.
What did the vet say it was? Did he rule out Red Mange?
Took our house dog to vet he had fungus and bacteria deep down in his ears he had scratched sores on the side of his head. Took him to vet they gave us 200 dollars worth of stuff. They said let us know how this works it's a new product were trying. After that didn't work I put Vicks all over his ears twice it was almost healed in 2 days couldn't believe it works on anything with soreness. I found out if I could stay away from that vet I can afford to coon hunt again.

Not saying this is the answer , but several years back I saw a hound that had his feet and ear tips burnt by TO MUCH lime being used in the kenneling areas trying to hold down the odor .
Just food for thought .
