Breeding Question

I have a half walker/ half cur female that is making a pretty nice squirrell dog. She only weighs about 25 pounds & stands 17.5 inches at the shoulder. She opens some on red hot tracks. She really tries to be accurate & is a hard treedog when she turns it over. Will tree by sight or nose. I want my dogs to be 25 or so pounds & rather them be silent on track & plan on breeding to a feist if i can find something. I'm thinking 1/2 feist,1/4 cur & 1/4 walker would make a decent cross if things work out right. Can anyone think of a male feist semi local to me that is a dominant reproducer of quick starting hard treedogs that use all their senses ? Thanks

If it were me.... I would find a heavy streak bred cur dog. The ones I've seen up here in IN never got over 30 pounds.

I think i would go with a small heavy streak bred cur to or find a McAndrews Feist and cross back over on it, if you are going to just squirrel hunt the pups i would go McAndrews and combo or night Streak.

X 2, on iceman,he just won the feist hunt in KY , i would not over look the iceman as a stud dog he can get it done.
