Coon Hunting Boot Question???

I AM TRYING TO FIND A HUNTING BOOT THAT FITS BETTER AROUND YOUR CALVES. I'M HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A COON HUNTING BOOT THAT ISN'T SO TIGHT ON MY CALVES. WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME FEEDBACK ON WHAT TYPE OF BOOTS GUYS ARE WEARING.

i've always used lacrosse alpha burly light or something like that. they have a thing on the back that flexes for bigger or smaller calves.

Ive been pleased with them so far! Much better than muck boots in my opinion. The chaps are nice and thick too.

I have never seen the Dewey Boots. I have used Mucks in the past but the heels always wear out over a year time.

I have a pair of Mucks and LaCrosse. For keeping your feet warm nothing better than the Muck Woody Elite, I only wear it in the cold of winter besides that the LaCrosse Alpha Lite 3.5 is the best fitting, most comfortable and durable boot in the market bar none.

That is the exact reason i bought them, the mucks werent big enough for my calves and I'm by no means a chubbo. These boots are big enough for your pant legs to fit down inside the boot which is something I have to have.

Also the inside has held up well but I wear the bama socks with them so thats probablly part of the reason theyre not wearing out on the inside.

They do run big I normally wear a 13 so thats what i bought but if i didnt have the bama socks my heel would rub raw because they run big. So try them on with your hunting socks if you can before u buy them or buy a size smaller than you normally wear.

hey tim, i don't understand what you mean when you wright that none of them last more than 3 months if you hunt. are you saying that you do so much walking that your boots wear out in 3 months or that it's so rough where you hunt the boots can't hold up? either way, i wouldn't be able to hunt if that was me.

call Reggie at valley creek I have to get a new pair every three months I wear them out

I hunt all kinds of country all over the united states just haven't found one that holds up
