Has anyone had any luck running Bluetick/Beagle cross on Big game?

Was wondering if anyone has had any luck with a cross into a Beagle for running Big game.I have one now that done real well this Bear season and was wondering if she's just a Super star!!!Or if that little cross is something to be desired.......She's a Bluetick/Beagle weighs about 30lbs and is all blue in color.

AFTER 5 OR 6 BEARS HE WAS RUNNING UP FRONT WITH HIS OLD DOGS AND BY THE TENTH BEAR HE WAS RIGGING AND HE NEVER LOOKED BACKED MADE ONE HECK OF A BEAR DOG LOOK LIKED A BLUETICK AND WAS ABOUT 40 LBS AND WAS KILLED BY A BIG MEAN BEAR WAS LAYING AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TREE STILL BARKING AND WAS BUSTED AND CHEWED UP BAD WHEN HE GOT THERE HE DIED IN HIS ARMS

when i was in collage i hunted with a man that two beagle and hound cross. one lookrd like a smal blurtick and the other looked like a small walker.
when i met him it was when i was going back to greenville. we were stoped and 90+ fox dogsand two beagle crosses, crossed 264 at that time it is 33 now.

my wife left me with him and that started a hunting, hog killing and gardening relation the wholow time i was in collage.

he ran those two dogs with the fox, bear and deer hounds.they were well in up in the pack on all races. only time i saw a beagle cross do this.
all the rest i have seen were super deer dogs.

Big game Beagle cross?

I'm really like'n this female that I have she's only a year old and showing lots of promise so far. She's running and treeing coons real well and been on a few Bears and seems to hold her own so far.I really like the size of her.I say little feed, lots of speed!!!!Just got two more pups that are crossed Bluetick/beagle,so hope the plan works out.If not I'll have some Deep snow Rabbit dogs!!!!

can you post a picture of your one year old female. also the two pups you have are ther any more pups avalible.I would realy like an all blue male around 30 to 40 pounds for cat bear or hare if they did not make it for big game.

beagle X big hound crosses are popular all over the South as deer dogs.

That must be the female you got from Jimmy Wilson in Pike NY. I remember when his registered bluetick male bred his buddies registered beagle and all the pups came out looking like blueticks.

The female you got was purchased from Jims friend to be a housedog in this area by a local couple with little kids. She was just too energetic and kept knocking the littlest child over so they regrettably took it to the dog shelter here in Wyoming County. I work for environmental health and the lady that runs the shelter Justa Goodell called me to say that one of Jims Beagle/Bluetick pups was at the shelter. I called Jimmy right away and he and Gina went and got it. Both parents are good hunters. This is the males pedigree to your pup:

********GRNITECH CH PR MYERS BLUE SMOKEY II
******GRNITECH PR HYATT’S BLUE BOOZER
********NITECH PR ANDERSON’S BLUE BETSY
****GRNITECH CH PR MC KINNEY’S ALL BLUE SPARKY
********GRNITECH CH PR MYERS BLUE SMOKEY II
******CH GRNITECH PR MC KINNEY’S ALL BLUE VELVET
********GRNITECH PR DALTON’S MISTY BLUE
PR MC KINNEYS ALL BLUE RINGER
********NITECH PR BUCKEYE BLUE CRUISE
******GRNITECH PR BUCKEYE BLUE LEO
********NITECH PR BENNETT’S LITTLE CASEY
****PR HINTON’S SWEET SARA
********PR ROJEM’S HURRICANE BLUE
******PR MC KINLEY’S MIDNIGHT MISTY
********PR ALLENS DUTEOUS BLUE ROBIN

Good luck. Oh here is a pic Jimmy had of your pup:
