last years ad in the local penny paper that went into Iowa

Treeing Walker for Sale, loud, independent and treeing. 500 cash.

and my phone number. First guy to come along meet me and followed me to the woods. Turned the dog loose he treed a coon ( we walked to his echo until we figured he was the other direction) the guy said that was a lay-up coon. I shot him out and he untied the dog from the tree. I said hey Ray where ya goin'? he replied to get your money.

the dog was 2 years old out of 2 "pr" parents out of All grand pedigrees. every year for 5 years we have sold one started dog.

i agree you have to be honset if you are planning on selling dogs you sell people a dog for good price and they take your word and ends up dog is not what you told them word will get around about how you lied about the dog people will not have any dealings with you rember a dog will do what its going to do no matter how much you bragg it up so its best to be honset it will help down the road jmo

just tell it like it is and ask plenty for it because if you don't ask enough or try to give someone a good deal they always think there's something wrong with it. There was a post on here a while back where a guy couldn't give his dog away, but i bet if he asked $500 for it it would've sold in an hour!

theres alot of truth to that. i seen a squirrel dog in paper awhile back for $100.00, said it was a nice little dog. i didnt even call. if they wanted $300.00-$500.00 i may have tried him out. lol

first take out a 2 page add in the magazines every month and then talk about 50,000 dollar this and 100,000 dollar that. throw in a few references to house cats and prehistoric raccoons and you should be able to sell them any ol mutt.

if you can't dazzle em with brilliance then baffle em with bull @#$%.

and if this doesn't work just be honest. dogs will sell them selves.

i got some i need to sell too.
