had dog same thing took to vets had bad case hookworms now i deworm on regular basis good luck
Be careful !! keep a good check on the Pups Hydration "Pull Up on it Skin where the neck meets the Shoulder blades then release" It should snap back in place If its Slow on returning or remains in a pinched form Then the Pup Needs IV Fluids ...
Bloody Loose Stools could be any of 10 different things ..
Get it to a Vet ....

Understand that I am not new to hounds; been around them my whole life.
Just wanting some ideas of what it could be.
Coccidiosis and giardia has been considered and we have meds for that.
just wanted to know if there was anything out there that I havent thought of.
Thanks for the input.

offer her some rice cooked in broth. won't cure it, but it will get some nutrients to her while you're figuring it out.

Really sounds like hooks to me also, people tend to under estimate hookworms but they can cause irreversible damage because they bore into the organs. I would get her to a vet asap.
