Got mine

Ups brought mine in today and i believe there going to be nice.. i wore mine around and are alot more cimfortable i thought than my lacrosses.. I just wish that they come in half sizes. Might foot is right the wehre a 10 is to tight and a 11 is to loose. These a lil snug, but i hate a loose boots.

I have to say I am pleasantly impressed with the new Dewey Boots sold by K-Lights.

Normally, I would never expect to use frogleg style boots on the trapline, but due to growing boys and old leaky waders that is what happened this last week.

The boots are very light, offer good support, and I will be darn if they aren't water proof when standing in water over your knees for long periods of time. I even miss calculated a muskrat's reach. You should have seen my boy's faces when that thing jumped and grabbed my leg. Luckily, it grabbed the nylon part of the boots. It did not even put a hole in it! I suspect my son's may laugh about me shaking the darn thing lose for some time.

Anyway, The material may seem light, but it sure is tuff. Now, of course my boots are still fairly new, but between coon hunting and trapping I sure have put the miles on them fast.

So Far....

I LOVE THEM!!! Have only wore them twice the night I recieved them and today when I took the pups out for a walk in the woods. I first thought they were going to be a bit big but I put on a thicker sock and they were great. My feet never got cold and they are comfortable. We will see how they hold up after time and wear and tear. So far so GOOD!!

They look alot like the Alpha Sports. Anyone know who makes them or where they are made?

Jim,
The Dewey's are made out of the country like most of the boots we all are use to buying and using.
Bruce now has them listed on the website at an introductory price.
Check them out.. http://www.conkeysoutdoors.com/

I just ordered a pair from Bruce. When they come I will take pics inside and out and give you my personal review. I have had about every boot on the planet so I can give you a comparison to others on the marked.

Can't wait to check them out!!

Anybody else get a chance to see and try on a pair of the new Dewey's boots and chaps at the Grand American?
If so, how many bought a pair and what do you think of them so far?

I bought a pair at the Grand American and am really impressed. The guy told me they are exactly like a Lacrosse. If they wear as good as my Mucks did when I first got them I will be very happy. The heels in the Mucks wore out way to fast and I don't think I will have that problem with these.
