anybody going to salisbury ?

wondering if anybody going to walker days in salisbury knows of any public hunting ground or would like to hook up and go on a pleasure hunt friday night . iam going to hunt in the allen shoe thursday night hunt but thats it . not from around there so you wouldnt have to worry about us sneaking back in your spot , just wanting to do alittle hunting while were there for the weekend . if nobody wants to i understand , and i will more than likely hunt friday / saturday night hunt . thanks for reading -andy

I may go look around I'm about an 1hr-1hr 15 min back up the road in Dobson around 10 min from the VA line we could probably work something out on hunting there is a game land about 15-20min from me Mitchell River Gameland but theres a few woods here in the back yard my old dog needs tuning up hasn't been out but a hand full of times since last season shes got a gang of pups right now.

feb 25 , 26 , 27 , that would be good , we just didnt want to spend all of our time down there for the hunts and not be able to enjoy the weekend . last couple times down thats all we done is hunt or we've just went down and hung out , so were trying to find a happy medium somehow . like sa were going to hunt in the thursday night hunt , but would like to go out and maybe kill a few on friday night to just have fun . we have good honest dogs , no trash runner's or anything like that . just looking to have some fun and meet some new hunting buddies .

I HUNTED THERE A FEW YEARS BACK AND THE TERRAIN IS FLAT, FLAT, AND FLAT.

mostly flat around the area were the hunt is but if you go back towards mt airy , nc its pretty step . go south of the hunt it gets swampy . fmoore i'll get in contact with you , thanks

we live on the edge of salisbury. terrain is mostly flat with some hills but nothing crazy, and a few swamps. we will be at the hunt more then once, our biggest thing we worry about is the yadkin river...and the dogs have crossed it and it sucks

ill be in contact . like i said before i think were going to hunt in the thursday night hunt , but would like to hunt friday night with some of you guys . we will be staying at fairgrounds in the camper and will have a camp fire going and plenty of hot dogs hamburger's and deer tenderloin on the grill - looking forward to meeting u fellas .

I sure do appreciate it guys. I hunt in Central WV where it is relativly steep im not much worried about that. Have just never hunted around BIG areas of water. Aprreciate it guys.
