Elizabeth, IL RQE Results - 8.9.08

Thanks to everyone who came out and/or entered a dog. There were 15 dogs in the show and 74 dogs in the hunt. Out of 19 casts, 18 came back with plus points. The scores weren't as high as we thought they'd be, but the results were pretty consistent.

HUNT WINNERS
1st - Nt. Ch. Ch. 'PR' Oklahoma's Pistol Pete, Collin Stubbs or Phillip Foster of Luana, IA. Handled by Corey Tieskoetter. 550+ (Another first place for Pete, Cork? You all are having a good year so far!)

2nd - CH. 'PR' Brock's Blue Saddie, Ron Behne/John Burkey of Bernard, IA. Handled by Ron Behne. 450+ (Nice job, Ron. We all wish John was here to enjoy it with you.)

3rd - Nt. Ch. 'PR' Yadkin River George, Joe and Will Thoma of Dubuque, IA. Handled by Will Thoma. 375+ (Good job, Will! Pretty consistent!)

4th - 'PR' Shofner's Tree Top Stitch, Bob Shofner of Henry, IL. Handled by Doug Ohme. 375+ (22 month old out of Dual Gr. Ch. Rock River Drifter and Doug's female. Is he nite champion now, Doug? Good job!)

5th - Nt. Ch. Gr. Ch. 'PR' North Star Blue Stinger, Jerry Sittlow of Somerset, WI. 350+ (Good job, Jerry!)

6th - Nt. Ch. Wildhaven's Kokane, Tim Schurch/Duane Eiseman of Orangeville, IL. Handled by Duane Eiseman. 325+ (Congratulations, Duane.)

7th - Gr. Nt. Ch. 'PR' Horton Creek Shockey, Mitch Mueller of Waverly, IA. 300+ (Thanks for coming over, Mitch. Nice job!)

8th - Gr. Nt. Ch. Gr. Ch. 'PR' Northern Nights Eclipse, Danny Doherty or Marlena Kerr of Mt. Carroll, IL. Handled by Danny Doherty. 300+ (You're like clockwork, Danny. Way to go!)

9th - Nt. Ch. Gr. Ch. 'PR' Hathaway's Iowa Tizzy, Jon or Coltin Hathaway of Ames, IA. 250+ (Nice hunting with you, Jon. Tizzy did a nice job!)

10th - 'PR' Millcreek Dottie, Kyle Ernst of Camanche, IA. 200+ (The young gun getting it done! Joel and Kyle, I corrected the city/state on the report going to UKC. We had it listed as Stockton, IL....not that it would matter.)

Just wanted to say thanks to all the club members who guided !! We used one non member (who is also a strong supporter of the club) and let 3 of our members do other things they had planned, but were on stand by should we need them.

18 of 19 cast with plus points !!!! Great job guys !!!!

Looks like it should be around 4th overall so far but who's counting

Coons moved late that night and real early so hope that trend keeps up for the world !!! First round in coons and late round in coons.

Great job by all the members and don't forget the Mini Slam on Friday & Saturday nights.......... we hope to see you there
