Welcome to our world!! On the positive side, at least when they are spread all over America, those of us that hunt in them won't have to worry about buying in a hound from up North that has never seen them!

trade ya them for porcupines any day!
We have them everywhere now. 10 years ago you didnt hardly see one unless you went South of Joplin or into Oklahoma.
I remember about 15 or 20 years ago one was caught in Nevada MO. It made front page news LOL, and the local game warden was quoted as saying he figured it was "brought in" and got loose or was released.

RIP Loose
They found one north of the mo. river last year.It was found east of k.c. about 90 miles. They let it back loose, thought it was neat.
seeing them
We have seen two at least and more sightings than that but may have been the same one in one area on different nights. We are located in the north east corner of Georgia. Read some about them on the net and they are moving north more and more.
I went just east of Kansas City Mo the other day to pick up a pup and one was on I - 70. The guy said that is the first one he seen up there. I remember when they first started here (springfield area) about 12 -13 years ago now they are WAYYYYYYY OVER populated. My brother does have a good diller dog if anyone is looking though lol!

Oblong IL
I had a friend tell me one evening his neighbor hit one right out in fromt of his house and thought it was a possum till the next morning when he got out to get the mail....It WAS a diller. I said no way. So my buddy took me about a mile and a half from his house and sure enough it was definitely a DILLER!

I saw 10 last night hunting. if your seeing 1 or 2 now give it 3 to 4 years and you will be seeing 10 when you go hunting
these things
Are plum loco! They don't know where to stop? And are pretty hard on pups! They jump up in the air about 3 ft and are fast when they want to be.

I saw several hit on the interstate just outside of Nashville, TN. Looks like they got across the land between the lakes finally and heading east. The Ole Miss held them back for years also. I hear they will thrive well in the steep hills.

Don't really bother me coon hunting. But they can sure get you excited and let down in a hurry deer hunting.
Pretty good eating -- Tastes like chicken.
Hey Mjflores, if you take the dillos and some fire ants, you got a deal on that trade. Just let me know your address and I will send you a five gallon bucket full...
