Crazy Hyde

Last weekend at a UKC hunt in Leiters Ford, Indiana ole Jay Hyde cussed a little girl on a cast. The club barred the girls father when he threatened Jay back at the club when she came back and cried to the father. Who wouldnt do this if someone cussed there 11 year old girl on her first hunt? This guy is a good guy too just starting in the hunts. Jay Hyde has caused trouble for years and UKC knows this. UKC needs to step up and solve the real problem.

If a man cussed my 11 year old girl over a stupid competition hunt, then yes i would be barred. Not for threatening, but for jerking a knot in his @$$. That is a fact, and something worth getting barred for!

SEEMS TO ME UKC IS ALLOWING MORE THEN JUST ONE OF OUR YOUTH HUNTERS TO BE MISTREATED AT THE HUNTS. MUST BE TRYING TO GET THEM READY FOR THE WORLD HUNT BY EDUCATING THEM EARLY

No I didnt hunt. My dad hunted Nite CH but he didnt know it happened. I was called by the girls father. Hes a newer guy whom youve probly met. Hes from Plymouth. He hunts black n tans and english.

Note I beleive the master of hounds did the right thing because you cant be violent at the club. Its up to the girl to file something on Jay and up to UKC to make the decisions at the hearings. I just cant see letting anyone off for being violent. Rules are rules, but I hope Jay dont walk away smelling like roses.

Not sticking up for anyone, not saying it did not happen....

But unless I saw it with my own eyes...not sure I would be naming names, and putting it out here for everyone to read.

Simple fact is that if there is more to the story than you heard, or what you have typed here is not 100% correct, it amounts to slander...

I don't know that I would want to be involved in a slander suit if I were you......not with this crowd anyway!

Maybe this is just too severe but I'm thinking maybe UKC should consider barring anyone who bitchs about getting screwed by a handler and doesn't file a misconduct complaint. We would either see alot less misconduct or a lot less bitch'in.
Dave, that situation is a real shame, if Lierters told Jay he is no longer welcome, at least they can say they did their part.

if it was my kid this jay guy wouldnt have to worry about being barred cause he woulnt be able to walk for about 6 months maybe longer sad that ukc would let this happen but thats the new ukc dont care about much as long as the money is rolling in

Jim, not trying to be a smart alect but what would you have UKC do based on what you know for sure about the situation? Do you have any reason to believe UKC even knows about this situation other than what they read on this thread? And lastly, would you want them to investigate every accusation made on this message board?

All I'm saying is that you can lose alot of money defending yourself in a slander suit.... Defense attornies are very expensive...

You could lose your house, your truck....defending yourself...even if you are right!

well everyperson that seen it should be whipped with a cane fer not standin up fer the little girl a grown man cussin a little girl should be beat severly but everyone that witnessed it and did nothin should recieve worse cause everyone knows the young kids are the future of our wonderful sport

Well that is pretty bad, but the father should know better than letting an 11 year old girl go on a cast with a group of grown men and him not be present. Maybe I am just over protective or don't trust people but I sure wouldn't take the chance with my child with the people at this hunts in any registry.

But if this did happen the father should not get in trouble for defending his little girl. That is whats wrong in this country we are getting away from common sense and morals.

If nothing else the club should get rid of both individuals involved and be done with it. I mean if the father is wrong the other guy is most certainly wrong and can't justify cussing a little girl over something as stupid and a raccoon hunt. If he did it he needed to be beat with the dog lead.

i had jay in a cast over the weekend and he was causing problems all night in the cast and at the end of the hunt talked the moh into scratchin me and another dog since he didnt strike our dogs in the first 3 barks even though the minute wasnt up. i would of won the cast with 725+ instead he won with maniac jr who didnt do anything all night with 275+. during the cast he did talk about getting this man barred as if he was proud of it but i dont blame that man for doing what he did i dont know anyone that would of been alright with jay treating there kid like that. i hope ukc does do something about jay because i have never heard of or been in a cast that has gone well with him in it.
