#1 over looked

In your opinion, what is the #1 most over look walker stud today or of the past? When I say most over looked, I mean that they do not have 100 pups on the ground. We can easily look in the back of the book and find the studs that are reproducing with 100 pups on the ground (to a point).

Lets keep this conversation nice and friendly, no bashing studs, owners or pups.

If you know it, post their stats! but at least tell us why you think the stud is overlooked.

Medleys hardwood lockbox. Not for sure how many hes got on the ground but hes defintly over looked.

past, DanIII had 55 pups 3 grnites 8 nites. 4 of the 8 nitech only needed one more win to be a grnite.

GRNITECH 'PR' HARD KNOCKIN STYLISH BUSTER owned by Keith Gillum and Beep Dillow. Had 25 pups, 4 GRNITE'S, 3 NITECH'S, as well as $$$ earned in the other registry. Died a couple years ago, could have been a BIG TIME reproducer, but he wasn't promoted and simply wasn't bred to enough.

We also sold a pretty nice dog named 'PR' Glancy's 7 Mile Bo Attack, he died of coon-hound paralysis right after his 3rd birthday with a UKC 1st and 2nd place win in just a few hunts. He was only bred twice, I think he had 12 pups on the ground, and 3 of them died. I'm pretty sure he has 1 GRNITE, 3 NITECH'S and others with wins. I've hunted with 5 out of him that are VERY NICE HOUNDS, and heard great reports on some others. He seemed to throw some pretty nice pups, and could have reproduced a lot more!!!

he died several yrs ago, at 13yrs old. I had 7 straws of semen that was collected when he was a 1 yr old. but just sold it all to Rich Ward of Ms. And around 20% is not even close to shabby.

I'm gonna say Daniel WilsonsSkuna River Bear dog. Daniel is a coon hunter first and foremost and doesnt blow about his dogs he lets them do the talking. Ol bear threw nice hounds out of EVERY cross. I could have bred my faith female to any dog in the country and chose bear because of all the pups I saw off him and different females.

Overlooked Walker Stud

Clays Duke King sired Hayes Hardtime Speck who sired how many different World Ch.'s. Speck was a full blooded Walker that was single registered as a English and Speck produced many dogs that placed in the different world hunts. 30 to 40 years ago the ACHA World hunt was the big one to win not many paid attention to the UKC World Hunt. (A LIFE TIME AGO)

Coonbuster, Bear doesn't have 100 pups yet? I thought he did... any ideas as to how many he has?

I have Bucky,Bawlie which are full brothers but from different litters. And Scar who is out of Cold Sweat and Emma (sister to bawlie and bucky). Bucky has sired one litter to a local female. They are around 4 mo. old. So we will see if he can Reproduce like his Sire and Dam. Bucky,Bawlie and Emma are from DanIII x Sassy. Scar is 10 mo. old and was starting to turn it on just before the cold weather set in.

Bucky will be 8 and Bawlie and Emma are 6. Emma is a Grch. and has a 2nd in ukc. My CrybabyII (Babe) dog was qualified for the world hunt, Emma was qualified for the show, but came in heat. I don't think I had Emma at Highland.
