Just got home from Mississippi and Terry called and said Jewel was Dead.

Boys, that's 4 now!! Sure don't make sense!!

Redgy I think you posted a while back that you were having an autopsy ran on one of your dogs that had passed unexpectedly. Did anything come of that? Anything show up strange on the autopsy?

Definitely seems like something strange is going on.

Wow Redgy, that's terrible. It's tough to lose one, let alone four. So sorry about your loss.

Hate to hear of your loss. I would definitely take a long look at a few things. First would be the feed.Also heres something that happened to me and I don,t know if it would pertain to your situation but it might. Every year in the fall field rats will come out of the fields and woods and try to take up residents around my kennels and chicken pens. I poison these rodents out every fall. One thing I learned the hard way. Any time you have poison out make extra sure there is no way a poisoned rodent can get into your dog pens and die.I use the Havoc brand poison and if a good size rodent gets a big dose of it and gets in a dog pen and the dog eats the rat. I have had eating the poisoned rat to kill a few dogs before I figured out what was killing them.I was accidently poisoning and killing my own dogs.I am now extra careful when I have poision out.Maybe this will help you or someone else as this is true situation that happened to me.With 4 dogs dying close together it is very likely to be a logical explanation besides coincidence.Hope you dont lose any more and again sorry for your loss.
