Supplementing dogfood?

Does anyone feed anything in addition to their dogfood?

Cod liver oil?
Eggs?

Just curious.

I only supplement when a female has pups on her. Then I put calcium with vitamin d, c, fish oil tabs, and ultra 24 milk replacer.

I just feed a quality feed and have no reason to supplement ....in deer season I do feed vennison scraps and add milk replacer to a female that is on pups

Where does my post say that? I feed Diamond EA to the dog im hunting hard . A bag can easily last 3-4 weeks with 1 dog

Mine have to have a treat everyday. One of them cheap uns from tractor supply. They don't get that. They ain't happy.

I feed ground deer scraps, fish scraps cooked up ,garden veggi. Dogs like it mixed in there feed.

It just works out sometimes this way but I normally would not bother . We can bait shrimp in the fall with menhaden fishmeal. It cost $50 a fifty lb bag. but this year I still had thirty pounds left over. I put a couple of tablespoons on top of their feed and shake it and it sticks and the dogs love the taste I recon cause they gobble it down. It's about 50% protein. If it's used up by the end of hunting season I don't care. They get fat doing nothing anyway.

Very Good Stuff !!! This is the Very best Additive you can Supplement with ..

But also add additional Qty.s of Magnesium and Zink !!! these are very important Minerials required by Conivores and is Lacking in todays Cooked Dry Feeds ...

They also need Good Red Meats !!!

He was a 1,350 #er with a Split Pelvic Socket (And it takes a bit more than a .22 to put them Down "Note to Self")
