Black Panther
I remember people on here saying there was no such thing. There was just one on Inside Edition that was one of three animals left from that Nut in Ohio that let the Exotic animals go.

It was either a black leopard or jaguar, no such thing as a black cougar.lol The scientific community has documented this over and over but urban mythology continues to persist. Seen any sasquatch's lately. Last one I seen had a chucacabra on a lead walking him, he couldn't make him heel very well.
I even seen a walker that was a coon dog once. lol
They are black panthers behind every pine tree here in Ga.

In Texas......ive maybe seen over a dozen black panthers-black cougar what ever you choose to call them,,,,ive been so close they have no pattern like the jauguar people say they have,,,, jet black.. tail just like a cougar,,,,,, this past year during deer season in texas,,,,,i stopped and watched a momma and 2 kits playing around a small bridge on a black top road behind the house,,,maybe 3 to 4 minutes,,,,, the momma let out a scream and off down the creek they went,,,,,a few weeks later i saw them down behind the house about and hour after daylight,, believe it or not......
oh yea we also have the mountain lion/cougar/yeller cat...in the same area....

There has been a thread on here that lasted well over a year on black panthers. They have been seen here as far back as the 1930's when my family raised turkeys. If you want to see what kind of predators you have, just put out a few thousand turkeys on the ground in a fence. I saw one 19 years ago this past July walking across a cotton field we had in the middle of the day. Haven't seen a trace since, and to this day I check for tracks everywhere on the farm. In the SC DNR regulation book it says there are no panthers in SC. In the next paragraph it says it is illegal to shoot them.
I don't think they are here in this area of SC all the time, but they have passed through, and I hope they never come back.
I was in Memphis today and seen many panther.
